DSGN Information and Self-service Hub (DISH)
A centralized hub that made essential design and company information easier to find.

The problem
The team had no centralized platform for essential data and each team/department used several platforms to do their documentation, so people relied on personal bookmarks and spent too long searching for information.
My approach
I gathered input through interviews and surveys with approximately over 500 participants, organized the information architecture, and built a self-service platform around recurring team needs.
The solution
A one-stop hub grouped design-related documents and company-relevant information into clear, structured, and ease to use platform.
Impact
The platform reduced search time for designers by up to 30 minutes per user and extended convenient access to other teams as well.
What I learned
A simple solution does not mean the process is also simple. It needs a thorough understanding of the underlying complexities to make it work effectively.
